Employment Types: Full Time, Temp to Hire.

Pay Rate: $26.00 / hour

Duties:

+ Troubleshoot all mechanical and pneumatic equipment problems.

+ Perform root-cause analysis to diagnose, repair and implement permanent solutions to equipment failures.

+ Perform and direct set-up and adjustments of equipment to ensure conformance to specifications.

+ Identify opportunities for continuous improvement that reduces operating costs.

+ Cleans and lubricates machinery and equipment following preventive maintenance schedules.

+ Utilizes troubleshooting skills and techniques on packaging equipment to detect malfunctions.

+ Disassembles, diagnoses, and rebuilds equipment components, valves, and pumps during routine maintenance.

+ Discusses machine operation variations with supervisors to diagnose problems and repairs of machine.

+ Develop and implement continuous improvement changes.

+ Develop improved changeover systems and champion improvements.

+ Understand and demonstrate safe work practices at all times. Must stay focused on maintaining a safe work environment.

+ Demonstrate high levels of good housekeeping practices to promote a safe work environment.

+ Comply with all Company policies and procedures.

Position Requirements:

Required Skills:

+ Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.

+ Ability to write routine reports and correspondence.

+ Able to use basic arithmetic skills (addition, subtraction, multiplication, division).

+ Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, proportions, percentages, area, circumference, and volume.

+ Able to lift up to 50 pounds up to 40 inches from the floor.

+ Able to function with a high degree of manual dexterity to assemble or repair precision equipment.

+ Able to read and operate digital and dial scales.

+ Able to stoop, bend, and climb.

+ Able to operate material handling equipment including forklifts.

+ Able to push/pull carts that may have loads exceeding 200 pounds.

Requirements: Background Check, Drug Test, Must be at least 18 years old., required education: HS Diploma or GED.
