Our client, a leading food manufacturing facility, is seeking a Food Plant Maintenance Mechanic to join their team. As a Maintenance Mechanic, you will be part of the Operations Department supporting the production and maintenance teams. The ideal candidate will have problem-solving skills, reliability, and a proactive attitude which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: Food Maintenance Mechanic Technician

Pay Range: $29- $35hr

Shift:** **1st and 2nd shift available

What's the Job?

+ Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical and electrical failures in production equipment.

+ Perform preventive maintenance to minimize downtime and ensure food safety compliance.

+ Read and interpret technical manuals, P&IDs, and schematics.

+ Collaborate with production teams to support equipment operation and train associates on basic troubleshooting.

+ Maintain accurate maintenance records and complete required documentation.

What's Needed?

+ 3–5 years of experience in food manufacturing or a similar industrial environment.

+ Strong knowledge of mechanical systems, electrical controls, and automation.

+ Ability to read blueprints, schematics, and technical documentation.

+ Experience working with conveyors, ovens, and chilli mixers is preferred.

+ Willingness to work 3rd shift and occasional overtime as needed.
