    Description

    Brevard County company is looking for a Sr. Accountant. The company is looking for a minimum of 5+ years of experience. Responsibilities of the Sr. Accountant will include, but not limited to the following.

     

    -- Lead quarterly and year-end close processes.

     

    -- Perform detailed reconciliations of general ledger accounts.

     

    -- Prepare quarter-end financial reports and variance analysis

     

    -- Manage general ledger entries and updates.

     

    -- Drive continuous improvement initiatives within the accounting function.

     

    -- Present financial reports and analysis to support business profitability.

     

    -- Partner with operations and supply chain on cost analysis.

     

    -- Develop and maintain work instructions and process documentation.

     

    -- Lead treasury management activities including cash planning and forecasting.

     

    -- Undertake additional strategic duties as needed to support company growth.

     

    -- Assist CFO with year-end activities, external accounting firm liaison, tax planning, and financial reporting.

    Requirements

    - Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.

     

    - 5+ years of experience.

     

    - Analytical problem solving skills.

     

    - Collaboration/Teamwork – build relationships across departments
