Description

+ Design, deploy, and manage cloud solutions on the Microsoft Azure platform, ensuring high availability, scalability, and performance.

+ Collaborate with software developers, system administrators, and other stakeholders to understand application requirements and translate them into effective cloud solutions.

+ Implement and manage infrastructure as code (IaC) using tools such as Azure Resource Manager templates, Terraform, or Ansible to automate deployment and scaling processes.

+ Monitor and maintain the health of Azure services, proactively identifying and addressing performance bottlenecks, security vulnerabilities, and other issues.

+ Manage and optimize virtual networks, storage, and compute resources within the Azure environment.

+ Implement security best practices to ensure data protection, compliance, and governance within the Azure cloud environment.

+ Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to Azure services, collaborating with support teams and vendors as needed.

+ Participate in on-call rotation to provide 24/7 support for critical incidents and outages.

+ Stay up-to-date with the latest developments in Azure services, cloud technologies, and best practices, and apply this knowledge to drive continuous improvement.

+ Contribute to the documentation of architecture, processes, and standard operating procedures.

Requirements

+ Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).

+ Proven experience as a Cloud Engineer or similar role, with a focus on Microsoft Azure cloud services.

+ Strong knowledge of Azure services, including virtual machines, networking, storage, security, and identity management.

+ Experience with infrastructure as code (IaC) tools such as Azure Resource Manager templates, Terraform, or Ansible.

+ Familiarity with DevOps practices and CI/CD pipelines for deploying and managing applications on Azure.

+ Proficiency in scripting languages such as PowerShell, Python, or Bash.

+ Solid understanding of security best practices in cloud environments, including identity and access management, encryption, and compliance.

+ Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot complex technical issues.

+ Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in cross-functional teams.

+ Azure certifications (e.g., Azure Administrator, Azure Solutions Architect) are a plus.

+ Experience with other cloud platforms (AWS, Google Cloud) is a plus.
