    Description

    Our team is developing RF front-end modules for a variety of applications. We are designing next-generation products that provide wireless communication for a variety of consumer and industrial applications.

     

    The Analog IC Design Co-Op will work closely with a senior engineering mentor to develop new products or evaluate new circuit concepts.

     

    This is an on-site position in our Andover, MA design center from January - June 2026.

    Responsibilities

    Tasks may include:

    + Design or modification of circuit blocks

    + Circuit simulation

    + Lab testing of circuits

    + Analysis of simulation or lab results, comparison with design expectations

    + Presentation of results to other engineers

    + Participation in design reviews

     

    Required Experience and Skills

     

    + Candidate must be enrolled in a Master's or PhD program in Electrical Engineering or a related field for the duration of the Co-op position.

    + Coursework focusing on analog or mixed-signal integrated circuit design covering topics such as op-amps, current mirrors, semiconductor devices, feedback theory, and VLSI

    + Proficient with Cadence IC design tools, including schematics and ADE simulation

    + Proficient with Microsoft Office tools - Excel, PowerPoint, Word

     

    Desired Experience and Skills

     

    Strong written and verbal communication skills

    The typical pay range for an Engineering intern across the U.S. is currently USD $26.00 - $47.50 per hour and for a Non-Engineering intern across the U.S. is currently USD $22.50 - $42.00 per hour. Starting pay will depend on level of education, the ultimate job duties and requirements, and work location. Skyworks has different pay ranges for different work locations in the U.S.
