This new Office serves as a central resource for litigation strategy, case development, trial preparation and presentation. The Office’s work also involves leading or joining civil litigation teams that challenge federal actions that harm the Commonwealth and its residents. __ _Primary Duties_: · Represent the Commonwealth of Massachusetts in a variety of complex civil litigation matters. · Workon complex civil litigation teams challenging federal actions that harm the Commonwealth and its residents. · Maintain an active case load, including working actively on litigation strategy, drafting pleadings, preparing and arguing dispositive motions, and trial. · Perform other duties as assigned by the Chief State Trial Counsel. _Position Type_: Full-Time/Exempt. /Our current hybrid model includes some remote workdays for most positions.
