Principal Duties & Responsibilities:

+ Comply with all applicable safety procedures and ISO14001 EMS guidelines

+ Mentor and lead a Process Engineering team consisting of Engineers and support technicians

+ Delivery of process / equipment improvements for high quality, high yields and minimal downtime

+ Data analysis of quality defects and machine capability to identify improvement opportunities

+ Maintain departmental performance metrics (RTFT, Prof. Savings, Material Usage, Plant Output, Standards of Work, etc.)

+ Interface with other departments to establish priorities, manage downtime for trials and maintenance, etc.

+ Manage and deliver cost reduction, efficiency improvement and capacity expansion projects

+ Contribute technical problem solving as needed for the support of general production

+ Ensure all product meets requirements as defined by the Plant’s Quality Management Systems

+ Other duties as assigned by supervisor or a member of management

Knowledge/Skills/Abilities:

+ Leadership abilities.

+ Ability to prioritize and maintain focus, for both the individual and the department, in a rapidly changing manufacturing environment.

+ Analytical technical problem solver.

+ Meets objectives with no supervision.

+ Motivated team leader with a professional and positive attitude.

+ Able to learn new technical skills quickly.

+ Results oriented and careful about documentation of work.

+ Ability to communicate technical issues to all levels of the organization.

+ Willing to work overtime and flexible hours, including holidays to support operational needs

+ Ability to benchmark other facilities, processes, etc., for best practices

Qualifications** **:

+ 3+ Years of leadership experience required

+ Education: BS ME, EE, IE Required

+ Education: BS in Management and-or Engineering Preferred
