• Middleware Engineer

    Cognizant (Detroit, MI)


    We are seeking a **Middleware Engineer** to support Enterprise applications and infrastructure. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with JBoss, IBM MQ services, UDeploy, Shell scripting, AWS Knowledge, Java, Ansible and performance monitoring tool such as Dynatrace and AppDynamics. The incumbent is responsible for managing deployments, ensuring application reliability, and supporting middleware components in a fast-paced mission-critical environment.

    In this role, you will:

    + Install, configure and maintain JBoss application severs and Apache HTTP servers in Environments (DEV, Model)

    + Administer and Support queue managers and troubleshooting messaging issues

    + Manage deployment through UDeploy, Ensuring smooth CI/CD pipeline execution and artifact management

    + Work closely with application and development teams to deployment and monitor applications

    + Troubleshoot and resolve middleware deployment issue in a timely manner

    What you’ll need to succeed (required skills):

    + Possess extensive experience with JBoss, IBM MQ services, UDeploy, Shell scripting

    + Demonstrate experience with performance monitoring tool such as Dynatrace and AppDynamics
