Join BAE Systems Countermeasure & Electromagnetic Attack Solutions (CEMA) business area in Hudson, NH, where you ll contribute to the Compass Call programa premier initiative delivering next-generation electronic warfare capabilities to protect military aircraft. As a mid-career Software Engineer on the Portable Mission Planning System (PMPS) team, you ll play a vital role in creating the ground software that makes these missions possible by enabling operators to translate mission requirements into executable flight plans. Your work will directly connect advanced software design to real-world mission success. What You ll Do:
+ Define requirements and design software solutions.
+ Develop and integrate applications (primarily in C# on Windows platforms).
+ Create intuitive user interfaces that help operators plan complex tactical missions.
+ Collaborate with Systems, CM, and other Software Engineers across the full software lifecycle.
+ Solve tough engineering challenges debugging, fixing, and integrating software across multiple baselines.
+ Create and maintain technical and project artifacts to support both program and enterprise needs.

Required Education, Experience, & Skills
+ Ability to obtain Secret clearance
+ Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or related field, and minimum of 4 years work experience or equivalent experience
+ Experience developing and integrating application software development including Graphical User Interfaces
+ Experience developing on Windows including recent C# development
+ Experience with some/all the following tools: Atlassian suite (Jira, Confluence, Bitbucket), Git, Visual Studio 2022, Entity Framework
+ Experience with Agile development
+ Foundation in Object-Oriented design and implementation
+ Strong communication and interpersonal skills
+ Strong problem-solving and collaborative skills
Preferred Education, Experience, & Skills
+ Secret clearance (active in the last 2 years)
+ Active CompTIA Security Certification
+ Full Life-Cycle Software development, integration, processes, and methodologies
+ Experience developing for the Joint Mission Planning System (JMPS) framework
+ Foundation in modern design and implementation principles
+ Experience with Windows Forms
+ Experience developing on Linux
+ Experience utilizing the Joint Mission Planning System (JMPS) framework and/or Next-Generation Open Mission Systems (NOMS) or Joint Open Mission Systems (JOMS) architectures
Pay Information
Full-Time Salary Range: $92290 - $156860
Please note: This range is based on our market pay structures. However, individual salaries are determined by a variety of factors including, but not limited to: business considerations, local market conditions, and internal equity, as well as candidate qualifications, such as skills, education, and experience.
