• Sr. Nodejs/React/AWS Developer

    Job Description

    A federal client of Insight Global is looking for a Fullstack Developer to join their team. This team is supporting a large government agency and building out a new portal application in AWS. This person is expected to have Nodejs, Typescript, and React experience. They are also expected to have extensive experience building out applications within AWS. The system is 100% serverless and 100%typescript using DynamoDB as the database. They need to have experience in dealing with backend which is fully Lambda (NodeJS/Typescript) proxied by API Gateway. They use CloudFront and S3 bucket for frontend which hosts React Single Page Application (SPA) and necessary to have skillsets to be able to move forward with development quickly. Apart from that, having experience in building/dealing with AWS Cognito for Authorization / Authentication is beneficial. This person will be working on enhancement features for this application.

    Compensation:

    $65/hr to $68/hr.

     

    Exact compensation may vary based on several factors, including skills, experience, and education.

    Skills and Requirements

    • 5-10 Year of experience in Software development and agile methodologies

    • 5+ years of extensive hands-on experience in AWS services (S3 & Lambda non-negotiable)

    • Strong hands-on experience in building serverless using NodeJS

    • Strong hands-on experience in building complex front end using ReactJS

    • Team player and a strong individual contributor focused on designing and building scalable solutions for a distributed system

    • Experience creating API’s - Lambda

    • Understanding of true end to end development process (will test their own code) • East Coast

    • QuickSight for reporting and dashboarding
