Analytical Development Science & Compliance Co-Op

YOUR TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES

The primary responsibilities of this role are to:

+ Conduct and execute hands-on analytical laboratory work and development activities;

+ Develop and conduct assay, related compounds and dissolution analytical methods of Drug Products, APIs and Excipients to characterize these materials;

+ Conduct analytical testing to support stability study, transformative science study and other fundamental scientific and analytical studies;

+ Conduct data analysis and interpret results after each experiment completed;

+ Present to AD peers and other cross-functional teams when needed;

+ Work with supervisor to design and execute experimental studies to make quick formulation decisions and critical scientific understanding;

+ Support other analytical infrastructure team activities such as metrology and stability programs;

+ Interact regularly with members of analytical development teams and other functional groups within the Development Center.

WHO YOU ARE

Bayer seeks an incumbent who possesses the following:

Required Qualifications:

+ Bachelor student in Chemistry or related field;

+ Hands-on chemical laboratory experience, including data analysis and interpretation;

+ Ability to work accurately and efficiently on multiple projects;

+ Strong computerskills - Microsoft Office/ Excel/ PowerPoint;

+ Good communication skills;

+ Has a positive, proactive attitude and willingness to learn.

Preferred Qualifications:

+ Familiarity with chromatography and related instrumentation;

Employees can expect to be paid a salary of approximately between $22.10 to $46.30. Additional compensation may include a bonus or commission (if relevant). Additional benefits include health care, vision, dental, retirement, PTO, sick leave, etc.. This salary (or salary range) is merely an estimate and may vary based on an applicant’s location, market data/ranges, an applicant’s skills and prior relevant experience, certain degrees and certifications, and other relevant factors.
