Colliers Engineering & Design is looking for an energetic, highly motivated intern to join our Federal Department in Pittsburgh for Spring and Summer 2026! This is a hands-on opportunity to gain real-world experience while working alongside experts on meaningful projects that support federal clients and critical infrastructure.

As part of our 3,000+ professionals nationwide, you’ll be exposed to a wide range of disciplines—including civil/site, transportation, MEP, architecture, geospatial, environmental, telecommunications, and more—all while learning how we use cutting-edge technologies to deliver innovative solutions.

+ Assist our Federal Team to organize and maintain project profiles, resumes, and other documents to be used in proposals and task orders.

+ Research existing project content and statements of work to be concisely documented for technical and non-technical audiences.

+ Determine the clearest way to present information for greatest reader comprehension.

+ Meet with subject matter experts to ensure specialized topics are appropriately addressed.

+ Generate innovative ideas for content and presentation of materials.

+ Review and copyedit content developed by other members of the team.

+ Learn and utilize CRM and other resources to extract information from existing and past proposals.

+ Perform research to identify potential clients and opportunities.

+ Support other research and administrative tasks as needed.

+ Pursuing a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in English, Business, Public Policy, Marketing, Communications, or a related program.

+ Junior or Senior standing preferred.

+ Prior experience with technical or creative writing.

+ Proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel.

+ Prior experience with Customer Relationship Management (CRM) Software a plus.

+ Strong attention to detail and exceptional communication skills.

+ Mastery of English grammar and writing for reader comprehension.

+ Ability to read, write and understand English for purposes of comprehending written job-related communications and verbal instructions and interactions.
