Job Description:

Parsons is looking for an amazingly talented **Systems Engineer** to join our team! In this role you will get to provide engineering support to the Missile Defense Agency (MDA) Modeling and Simulation (M&S) Operations Support team, that focuses on requirements, modeling and simulation (M&S), and verification & validation (V&V) activities in support of missile defense and threat systems M&S development. Your work will involve interaction between missile defense systems and threat system disciplines in this environment and you may be asked to analyze the integration of systems engineering processes and methodologies to ensure effectiveness of this work.

What You'll Be Doing:-

+ Develop and review missile defense system and threat system Model Based Systems Engineering (MBSE) requirements diagrams

+ Develop and review missile defense system and threat system MBSE physical system model diagrams

+ Develop and review missile defense system and threat system MBSE V&V diagrams

+ Lead and facilitate interactions between stakeholder disciplines

+ Play a role in overall functional strategic planning of the MBSE processes within this organization

What Required Skills You'll Bring:

+ BS in STEM field with +3 years of experience

+ Active Secret clearance

+ Ability to obtain a Top Secret clearance

+ Experience with Artificial Intelligence (AI) and Machine Leaning (ML) concepts and applications

+ Experience with Agile and Lean software development principles

+ Experience in model and simulation requirements development

+ Experience in model and simulation V&V

+ Microsoft Office Suite proficiency

What Desired Skills You'll Bring:

+ Experience in missile defense system modeling and simulation

+ Experience in model and simulation development

+ Experience in Radio Frequency (RF) signature models

+ Experience in Infrared Plume (IR Plume) signature models

+ Experience in Infrared Hardbody (IR Hardbody) signature models

+ Experience in Computer Aid Design (CAD) models

+ Experience with missile defense system and/or threat system simulation and model testing processes

+ Experience with DoD and/or MDA acquisition and systems engineering

+ SAFe Certification

+ Active Top Secret clearance

Security Clearance Requirement:

An active Secret security clearance is required for this position.​

Salary Range: $72,900.00 - $127,600.00
