The Opportunity

In this role, you will have the opportunity to:

+ Focus on the delivery of civil site development projects and will assist in the design, construction, and projectmanagement of a wide variety of projects involving grading design, stormwater design, erosion control designculvert design, and pavement design, etc

+ Professional will have hands-on involvement in permitting process

+ Professional will have significant interaction with multi- disciplinary internal teams and external clients

Key Responsibilities

+ Perform design of projects from the conceptual and bid phase through design completion for project needs andrequirements that are set by the project managers based off client needs

+ Assist the Engineering Manager in maintaining project schedules and budgets

+ Under the direction of the Engineering Manager, interface directly with the client or sub-consultants

+ Support business development through writing of technical approaches, scopes of work, and presentation toclients

+ Responsible for effective communication with other engineering disciplines and project team

Preferred Qualifications

+ Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering or related discipline

+ Licensed PE or ability and interest to obtain PE and/or be in active pursuit of registration

+ Thorough understanding of civil site development (i.e., Site Plans, Permitting, Grading, Storm Water Management, Storm Water Design)

+ Ability and motivation to lead portions of complex projects with guidance and mentorship

Minimum Qualifications

Requires a bachelor's degree in engineering from either a recognized accredited program in their home country or the country in which the professional is practicing. Minimum of 5 years related work experience.

Certifications

Licensed Professional Engineer or be in active pursuit of registration

Work Environment/Physical Demands

+ Hybrid or flexible work options may be offered after the first 90 days of employment based upon managerdiscretion, job performance and work assignments.

+ Typical office/home office environment. Physical Demands: Sitting, talking, grasping, hearing, keyboard input,driving, seeing, writing, reaching, stooping, crouching, walking, standing for extended periods of time.

+ May require travel to local and regional client sites.
