    Description: Belcan is looking for a Project Scheduler with 5+ years of experience in Cincinnati, OH. This is a direct, full-time position with full benefits. Great matching candidates will have a strong scheduling background working on engineering projects, are proficient in utilizing Smartsheet. You will be working with engineers, project managers, and cost account managers to support the construction of a new product development lab.

    Job Duties:

    * Scheduling Support

     

    -Lead Smartsheet scheduling efforts to add to and maintain a detailed schedule of a new lab. Items to include, but not limited to, the lab construction plan and procurement of equipment and hardware.

     

    -Participate in weekly operating/status meetings.

     

    -Be the liaison between Technical Leads, Project Managers (PMs), other client personnel, and vendors to gather and understand the program status, track the critical path, and update the Smartsheet schedule.

     

    -Generate and provide timely and accurate communication of project status reports (e.g. Critical Path and Lookaheads).

     

    -Facilitate meetings as necessary to ensure accurate and necessary details and status information is collected.

     

    -Review above data with project team and incorporate any required adjustments.

     

    * Data Management

     

    -Collect and upload data of new equipment and processes into Gensuite.

     

    -Track and provide updates to new equipment"s Request for Material (RFM) in Fixed Asset Management System (FAMS).

     

    * Procurement Support

     

    -Procurement strategy, identifying suppliers, requisition writing, and tracking in SSS, iProcurement.

     

    -Track hardware and place requisitions for hardware on behalf of client (as required).

     

    -Coordinate delivery and storage of Owner Furnished Equipment.

     

    -Change Order management: Administration, verification, and impact to cost and schedule.

    Required:

    * Education: Associate degree in a recognized engineering field from an accredited institution or equivalent experience.

    * Experience: Minimum of 5 years of project scheduling or project management experience.

    * Proficient in Smartsheet

    * Highly organized, detailed oriented.

    * Ability to work independently and with team.

    * Some technical, or mechanical background is preferred. Emphasis on experience working with Engineers.

    * Ability to take ownership of your work and the overall success of the program you are supporting.

    * Due to the nature of the work being done all applicants must be U.S. Citizen

     

    We provide a competitive pay and benefits package. This position is offering a salary rate of $72,800 to $87,360 however, Belcan considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to education, experience, geographic location, and discipline. Benefits offered may include health care, dental, vision, life insurance; 401(k); education assistance; paid time off including PTO, holidays, and any other paid leave required by law.'
