Adecco is assisting a local client in filling an Accounting/Billing Specialist position in Hopkinsville, KY. You will obtain, review, and evaluate financial reimbursement information for medical services. If you meet the qualifications below, please Apply Now!

Day Shift: Monday-Friday, 7:30am-3:30pm

Pay Rate $21.05 an hr., weekly pay

Responsibilities:

• Conduct interviews and obtain information from patient, patient’s family, and/or guardian concerning responsibility for patient care. Complete new admission paperwork.

• Establish ability and authority of responsible party for payment of patient services rendered including precertification for patients with insurance. Perform follow up interviews and contacts as needed.

• Maintain, run reports to review and evaluate patient accounts including posting charges, submitting insurance claims, working denied claims and posting payments into Meditech electronic medical records.

• Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

+ High School graduate

+ 1 year experience with Medicaid/Managed Care Insurance/third-party billing procedures. claims and posting insurance remittances. Electronic medical records system.

+ Knowledge of relevant accounting software

+ Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel & PowerPoint) also required.

+ Capable of handling problem resolution in a calm and clear manner.

+ Ability to build and maintain strong customer and client relationships and networks.

+ Must be able to navigate stairs frequently throughout the workday as part of essential job functions.

**Pay Details:** $21.50 per hour
