• IT Infrastructure Project Manager

    Description

    Robert Half is seeking an experienced and driven IT Infrastructure Project Manager to lead and oversee technical projects to support a client in Food Services. This individual will be responsible for managing infrastructure initiatives, coordinating with vendors and stakeholders, and ensuring projects are delivered on time, within scope, and according to organizational standards.

     

    Duration: 6-month contract

     

    Pay rate: up to $65/hourly

    Key Responsibilities

    + Manage and oversee IT infrastructure projects including server management, patch management, and infrastructure support to ensure system stability, reliability, and security.

    + Take a hands-on approach to technical project delivery, ensuring all tasks are completed on schedule and meet quality standards.

    + Coordinate and manage vendor relationships, ensuring deliverables meet defined requirements, timelines, and service level agreements.

    + Oversee the full Systems Development Life Cycle (SDLC) for technical programs, ensuring alignment with best practices and organizational standards.

    + Plan, execute, and track progress of technical initiatives, especially within large-scale enterprise environments (1000+ users).

    + Act as a liaison between technical teams and business stakeholders, communicating project updates, risks, issues, and mitigation plans.

    + Monitor team performance to ensure alignment with project goals, deliverables, and organizational priorities.

    Requirements

    + 2–5 years of experience in Project Management, preferably within IT infrastructure environments.

    + Strong understanding of requirements gathering (ability to define and manage requirements though not in a dedicated Business Analyst role).

    + Ability to communicate effectively with technical teams and understand core IT technologies.

    + Familiarity with infrastructure-related tools and platforms such as:

    + VMware

    + Server management (Windows Server / Linux)

    + Veeam or other backup/recovery solutions

    + Strong vendor management and stakeholder communication skills.

    + Knowledge of project delivery methodologies such as Agile and hybrid approaches.

     

    Preferred Skills

     

    + Experience working in large-scale enterprise environments (1000+ users).

    + Proven ability to lead cross-functional teams and drive complex infrastructure projects to completion.

    + Strong problem-solving, organizational, and time-management skills.
