Description We are looking for a skilled Tax Preparer to join our team in Sheffield, Ohio. This is a long-term contract position where you will play a crucial role in assisting clients with individual tax filings during a busy season. If you have a strong background in handling high-volume tax returns and are detail-oriented, we encourage you to apply.

Responsibilities:

• Prepare and file individual tax returns (1040s) with accuracy and efficiency.

• Handle high volumes of tax appointments, managing hourly client sessions.

• Provide expertise in local city tax filings, ensuring compliance with regulations.

• Utilize Drake Tax Software to complete tax filings, with training provided if needed.

• Communicate effectively with clients to gather necessary documentation and resolve any discrepancies.

• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of tax laws and regulations to deliver accurate results.

• Work collaboratively with the team to meet deadlines during the busy tax season. Requirements • Minimum of 2 years of experience in preparing individual tax returns (1040s).

• Familiarity with local city tax processes is highly preferred.

• Proficiency in using tax preparation software, with experience in Drake Tax Software being a plus.

• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills to manage high volumes of work.

• Excellent communication skills to interact with clients and address their concerns.

• Ability to work onsite in Sheffield, Ohio, during the contract period.

• Flexibility to adapt to a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
