Description

Rapidly expanding New York City firm is currently seeking a Human Resources (HR) Manager to join their team in New York, New York. In this role, you will play a pivotal part in managing critical HR functions, including payroll, benefits, and office management. This position requires a skilled and detail-oriented individual capable of overseeing employee-related processes while ensuring compliance with legal and organizational standards.

Responsibilities:

• Oversee payroll operations and ensure accuracy and timeliness in processing.

• Manage employee benefits programs, including health insurance and 401(k) plans.

• Track and monitor vacation, sick days, and employee absences to maintain accurate records.

• Collaborate with the legal team to ensure compliance with employment laws and workplace regulations.

• Provide administrative oversight for onboarding and offboarding processes.

• Serve as the primary point of contact for HR-related inquiries and resolutions.

• Maintain and update HR policies and procedures in alignment with company goals.

• Take charge of general office management to support organizational efficiency.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in human resources management or related roles.

• Strong expertise in employee relations and HR administration.

• Proficiency in managing payroll systems and benefits programs.

• Familiarity with HRIS (Human Resources Information Systems) for data management.

• Experience in overseeing onboarding and offboarding processes.

• Comprehensive understanding of employment laws and compliance requirements.
