Description We are looking for a skilled Systems Administrator to join a dynamic manufacturing team in Pomona, California. This position offers the opportunity to manage and optimize IT operations across multiple sites, ensuring seamless infrastructure performance and user support. The role is onsite and involves occasional travel within Southern California.

Responsibilities:

• Administer and maintain Windows Server and VMware environments, ensuring reliable infrastructure operations.

• Troubleshoot and resolve hardware and software issues for internal users while managing ticket priorities.

• Oversee Microsoft 365, Exchange, Active Directory, and Azure AD, including identity and access management.

• Support networking systems such as firewalls, switches, and access points, ensuring robust security and connectivity.

• Manage data backups and recovery processes using tools like Veeam, ensuring disaster readiness.

• Collaborate with operations to support ERP systems, including integrations and upgrades, with Epicor experience preferred.

• Monitor system performance, recommend improvements, and plan for hardware and software upgrades.

• Coordinate with third-party vendors and manage hardware/software procurement and lifecycle.

• Mentor and train IT Support staff, preparing for leadership responsibilities as part of a planned transition to IT Manager.

• Ensure compliance with regulated manufacturing standards and company safety policies. Requirements • Bachelor’s degree in IT, Computer Science, or a related field, or equivalent experience.

• At least 5 years of experience in IT operations within multi-site environments.

• Proficiency in Windows Server, VMware, Active Directory, Azure AD, Exchange, and Microsoft 365.

• Familiarity with networking protocols, VPNs, firewalls (Cisco or SonicWall), and wireless systems.

• Experience with backup systems like Veeam and endpoint security tools.

• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to communicate effectively across departments.

• Willingness to support occasional off-hours maintenance and travel locally within Southern California.

• Bonus: Experience with Epicor ERP systems and bilingual Spanish skills.
