    Job Summary:

    The Spanish Interpreter provides language support to ensure effective communication between Spanish-speaking students, families, and school staff. This position is on an as-needed basis and may be asked to support school functions such as parent/teacher conferences, school registration, or translation of written documents.

    Key Responsibilities:

    + Provide oral interpretation during parent/teacher conferences, school events, and meetings.

    + Assist Spanish-speaking families during student registration and enrollment processes.

    + Translate school communications, letters, and forms from English to Spanish (and vice versa), as needed.

    + Maintain confidentiality of student and family information at all times.

    + Communicate in a professional, culturally sensitive, and accurate manner.

    + Collaborate with school staff to ensure families receive timely and understandable information.

    Qualifications:

    + Fluent in Spanish and English.

    + Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

    + Ability to accurately interpret and translate in an educational setting.
