Position Overview
Cintel is seeking a highly skilled Senior Test Engineer with extensive experience in software and system testing, automation, and evaluation of large-scale, high-performance immersive systems. This role requires a proven leader in designing, implementing, and managing complex test environments, ensuring compliance with government standards, and driving mission-critical program success.
Key Responsibilities
+ Create and automate software test cases to ensure functionality, performance, and reliability.
+ Perform application testing, validate and isolate bugs, and provide detailed issue analysis.
+ Execute, analyze, and report test results in ticketing systems.
+ Lead configuration management, change management, and release management activities.
+ Evaluate, recommend, and implement automated test tools and strategies.
+ Design, implement, and conduct test and evaluation procedures to verify system requirements.
+ Develop, maintain, and enhance automated test scripts and architectures.
+ Write, implement, and provide status updates for system test cases.
+ Serve as a subject matter expert for testing complex software/hardware systems.
+ Lead risk management assessments and software/hardware development phases with emphasis on test design, user requirements analysis, and tool selection.
+ Design, plan, and execute system tests, delivering detailed test reports.
+ Review government test plans and reports for compliance and technical accuracy.
+ Observe and evaluate customer acceptance testing, providing recommendations.
+ Support software integration activities and ensure successful system interoperability.
+ Identify, document, and analyze issues, offering root-cause guidance and remediation.
+ Assist with scheduling and management of system test environments and assets.
+ Prepare and present test results at reviews, audits, and formal briefings, providing decision support materials.
+ Maintain and control multiple software and hardware test baselines.
Qualifications
+ 10+ years of experience in software/system testing, automation, and evaluation.
+ Expertise in automated test tools, test design, and execution strategies.
+ Proven experience testing high-performance and large-scale immersive systems.
+ Strong background in risk management, integration, and configuration/change management.
+ Ability to lead and mentor teams in test planning, execution, and reporting.
+ Exceptional problem-solving and analytical skills with attention to detail.
+ Strong written and verbal communication skills, including reporting and technical briefings.
+ Must hold an active Top Secret clearance .
