    Summary:

    In this role, you will assist accounts payable in verification of vendor invoices, obtaining approvals, coding to appropriate general ledger accounts and verification of credit balance refunds; preparation of monthly accruals; reconciliations of general ledger accounts as assigned; assistance to other Accounting/Finance department members as needed including special projects.

    Responsibilities:

    + Prepare and process paperwork, journal entries and reconcile general ledger and subsidiary accounts; assists in preparing monthly financial statement

    + Coordinate the preparation of regularly scheduled and special billings

    + Perform processing invoices and vouchers, Account Payable transactions

    + Assist in preparing and filing annual financial statements

    + Assist with the preparation of the annual and mid-year expense budgets and investment budget

    + Assist with fixed asset accounting

    + Maintain cleanliness at worksite in accordance with 5S3R Standards:

    + Sort, Set in order, Shine, Standardize, Sustain

    + Right Location, Right Quantity, Right Container

    + Perform other duties as assigned

    Qualifications:

    + High School Diploma or GED required

    + Vocational Certificate or associate's degree preferred or equivalent, relevant experience

    Skills:

    + Knowledge of finance, accounting, budgeting, Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP)

    + Knowledge of financial and accounting software applications (ERP)

    + Knowledge of federal and state financial regulations

    + Attention to detail
