Charge RN opportunity in beautiful Hamilton, Montana!!
Bitterroot Health is seeking candidates to fill a Registered Nurse – Charge position in our Medical Surgical unit. The Charge Nurse provides, promotes and maintains quality nursing care to patients with various acuity across the age spectrum through effective management of staff. Evaluates the nursing process and documents findings in the EMR. Directs day-to-day activities of nurses and support staff assigned to the unit ensuring adherence to appropriate guidelines and hospital policies and procedures. Creates and adjusts nursing care assignments based on individual nurse’s skills, experience and abilities. Attends daily discharge planning meetings. Coordinates cares with other ancillary department and care areas. Provides direct patient care as assigned. Communicates with House Supervisor bed status and availability.
Minimum Qualifications:
+ Education: Graduate of an accredited school of nursing, BSN or ADN, current Montana or compact license per Montana Board of Nursing Regulations. License in good standing without disciplinary action or investigation.
+ Licensures, Certifications, Registrations: Basic Life Support; ACLS, PALS, NRP within 6 months of hire.
+ Experience: Minimum of two years of RN experience.
Schedule: Part-time, 24 hours/week, Nights
Benefits: This position is eligible for partial benefits package
