    SUMMARY-This position is responsible for implementation of the supply chain strategy processes and initiatives, and metrics to support company and business goals. This role with partner closely with the Materials, Engineering, Marketing, Finance, and Manufacturing teams to ensure efficient and cost-effective production, inventory levels and delivery performance.

    ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

    + Oversee the entire supply chain, from raw material procurement to final product delivery.

    + Develop and implement strategies to optimize efficiency, reduce lead times, and enhance overall supply chain performance.

    + Identify, evaluate, and manage relationships with key suppliers and vendors.

    + Negotiate contracts and terms to ensure cost-effectiveness and reliability of the supply chain.

    + Monitor supplier performance and address issues.

    + Collaborate with sales and marketing teams to forecast demand for products.

    + Plan production and procurement activities based on demand forecasts.

    + Identifying potential risks in the supply chain and developing strategies to mitigate them.

    + Developing contingency plans for disruptions in the supply chain.

    + Work closely with quality control teams to establish and maintain high-quality standards in raw materials and finished products.

    + Implement strategies to reduce transportation costs and improve delivery timelines.

    + Identify areas for process improvement and implement best practices to enhance overall supply chain efficiency.

    + Monitor industry trends and technological advancements to stay ahead in the furniture manufacturing landscape.

    + Monito and control costs associated with procurement, transportation, and inventory.

    + Implement and manage supply chain management systems.

    Position Requirements

    + Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business, or a related field or equivalent experience. Master's degree is a plus.

    + Minimum of 5 years supply management experience, with at least 3 years in leadership and management in manufacturing industry.

    + In-depth knowledge of furniture manufacturing processes, including steel chair welding, wood chair sanding and staining, upholstery, and table construction.

    + Proven experience in vendor negotiation, contract management, and cost control.

    + Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

    + Excellent communication, leadership, and people development skills.

    + Ability to effectively collaborate with the executive team and comfortable working at all levels within a fast-paced environment.

    + Customer focused, agile learner, self-motivated, and results driven.

    + Ability to interpret technical instructions in mathematical or diagram form and deal with several abstract and concrete variables.
