Principal Accountabilities:

+ Direct responsibility for the day-to-day operations of running packaging, filling, and palletizing equipment

+ Will be required to make process changes to the production equipment

+ Frequently assists other operators on the equipment

+ Operate mobile equipment including forklift, and pallet jack, and help replenish raw materials such as corrugate, stretch wrap, caps, etc.

+ Transact in plant warehouse management system/SAP

+ Perform operator care on the line

+ Participate in training, communicate, and follow up on what is needed for the production line to succeed

+ Complete all daily tasks and keep the plant audit ready at all times

+ Understanding and adhering to all safety rules and regulations

+ Maintaining a safe and clean work environment

+ Other duties as assigned

Required Qualifications:

+ Right to work in the U.S. that is not based solely on possession of a student visa or a visa sponsored by a third-party employer

+ Cargill requires employees be a minimum of 18 years old to work in a production facility

+ Ability to understand and communicate in English (verbal/written)

+ Basic computer skills

+ Ability to perform physical job duties which may include bending, lifting up to 50lbs, kneeling, climbing, crawling, and twisting safely, with or without a reasonable accommodation

+ Ability to work in varied indoor and outdoor conditions which may include heat, cold, dust, loud noise, etc., with the use of personal protective equipment (PPE)

+ Ability to work in elevated areas (4 feet and above)

+ Must be able to operate machinery and/or industrial equipment

+ Ability to work overtime including weekends, holidays and different shifts with advance notice

+ At least 6 months of experience in production and manufacturing

Preferred Qualifications:

+ Forklift experience

+ Experience with SAP and automated plant control systems

+ High school diploma/GED or a minimum of one-year equivalent work experience
