    Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) – $55/hr | Full-Time | FMLA Coverage | Shawnee Mission, KS | Feb–May 2026

     

    Amergis Educational Staffing is seeking a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) for a full-time, short-term assignment in Shawnee Mission, KS, covering an FMLA leave from February through May 2026. This school-based role offers a collaborative environment and group support within special education settings.

    Position Overview:

    + Location: Shawnee Mission, KS

    + Modality: In-person

    + Schedule: Monday–Friday, 7:30 AM – 4:00 PM (37 hours/week)

    + Start Date: February 2, 2026

    + End Date: May 2026

    + Duration: FMLA coverage

    + Pay Rate: $55/hour

    + Interview Format: Virtual

    + Campus Placement: Determined during interview with school principals

    + Support Model: Group-based collaboration with BTs, SLPs, and behavioral staff

    Responsibilities:

    + Conduct evaluations and screenings for students referred for speech/language concerns

    + Implement behavior plans in coordination with therapy and behavioral teams

    + Provide therapy services and document progress according to individualized plans

    + Collaborate with school staff to support student communication goals

    Requirements:

    + Active Missouri SLP license

    + CCC-SLP certification preferred

    + CPR certification, TB screening, and health clearance as applicable

    + Must meet all federal, state, and local requirements

    + Must be at least 18 years of age
