Special Education Resource Teacher – $55/hr or $2,300/week Travel Package | Full-Time | Buckeye, AZ | 2025–2026 School Year

Amergis Educational Staffing is seeking a full-time Special Education Resource Teacher for the 2025–2026 school year in Buckeye, AZ. This position supports a PreK–8th grade campus and offers either a $55/hour local rate or a $2,300/week travel package for eligible candidates.

Position Overview:

+ Location: Buckeye, AZ

+ Grade Levels: PreK–8 (specific grade level discussed during interview)

+ Classroom Type: Resource

+ Modality: In-person

+ Schedule: Monday–Friday, 40 hours/week

+ Start Date: September 29, 2025

+ Duration: 36 weeks

+ Interview Format: Virtual

Responsibilities:

+ Provide quality instruction and support to students with diverse learning needs

+ Implement IEPs and collaborate with general education staff

+ Deliver specialized instruction, tutorial assistance, and consultation

+ Maintain compliance with all federal, state, and district regulations

Preferred Qualifications:

+ Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university

+ Minimum one year of classroom experience

+ Familiarity with Learning Behavior Specialist (LBS1) endorsement

+ CPR certification, TB screening, and health clearance as applicable

+ Must be at least 18 years of age
