    Special Education Teacher – $45/hr | Part-Time | El Monte, CA | 2025–2026 School Year

     

    Amergis Educational Staffing is seeking a Special Education Teacher to support students in El Monte, CA for the 2025–2026 school year. This in-person role begins August 19, 2025, and runs through the end of the school year. The position offers 30 hours per week and serves students from Kindergarten through Grade 12.

    Position Details:

    + Location: El Monte, CA

    + Start Date: August 19, 2025

    + Duration: Full school year

    + Schedule: Monday–Friday

    + Hours: 30/week

    + Modality: In-person

    + Pay Rate: $45/hour

    Responsibilities:

    + Provide specialized instruction aligned with student IEPs

    + Collaborate with general education staff and support teams

    + Deliver tutorial assistance and consultative services

    + Maintain compliance with district, state, and federal regulations

    Minimum Requirements:

    + Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university (preferred)

    + Valid California teaching certificate in Special Education

    + One year of classroom experience (preferred)

    + CPR certification, TB clearance, and health certificate as applicable

    + Must meet all federal, state, and local requirements

    + Must be at least 18 years of age
