    Occupational Therapist – $55/hr | Full-Time | Shawnee Mission, KS | 9-Month Contract

     

    Amergis Educational Staffing is seeking a full-time Occupational Therapist (OT) for a 9-month school-based assignment in Shawnee Mission, KS, starting September 29, 2025. This position includes one immediate opening and one FMLA coverage running from August through April, supporting students across K–12 grade levels.

    Position Details:

    + Location: Shawnee Mission, KS

    + Modality: In-person

    + Grade Levels: K–12 (placement determined during interview)

    + Schedule: Monday–Friday, 7:30 AM – 4:00 PM (37 hours/week)

    + Start Date: September 29, 2025

    + Duration: 9 months

    + Pay Rate: $55/hour

    + Interview Format: Virtual

    Responsibilities:

    + Perform student evaluations and develop individualized therapy plans

    + Provide direct therapy services and document progress

    + Collaborate with OTs, OTAs, PTs, and other therapy staff to implement behavior plans within special education settings

    + Support classroom teams and contribute to student success across general and special education environments

    Requirements:

    + Current Occupational Therapist licensure in Kansas

    + Minimum one year of professional OT experience (preferred)

    + CPR certification, TB screening, and health clearance as applicable

    + Must meet all federal, state, and local requirements

    + Must be at least 18 years of age
