    As a Middle School Special Education Teacher, you’ll provide individualized instruction and coordinate services for students with disabilities, helping them thrive academically, socially, and emotionally during these formative years.

     

    ? Qualifications:

    + Missouri Certification in one or more of the following:

    + Mild-Moderate Disabilities (LD, BD/ED, MR, OHI)

    + Hearing Impaired

    + Visually Impaired

    + Severe Developmental Disabilities

    + Alternative certifications may be considered.

     
     

    + Direct supervision by the School Site Principal

    + Collaborative support from the Director of Pupil Services

     
     

    + Develop and implement IEPs as a case manager

    + Provide specialized instruction in inclusive and separate settings

    + Collaborate with general education staff and families

    + Maintain compliance documentation per DESE guidelines

    + Participate in evaluations and instructional planning

    + Communicate regularly with parents and guardians

    + Use technology to enhance instruction and manage records

    + Uphold district policies and safety practices
