    Haven is seeking a passionate, dedicated Hospice Cook to join our team in Orange Park, FL . In this important role , you will prepare and serve meals to patients, including those with special dietary needs, in a clean, safe, and respectful environment. Your work will bring daily comfort, dignity, and nourishment to those at the end of life.

    Responsibilities

    As a Hospice Cook , You will:

    + Prepare and cook patient meals, including special diets, in a sanitary and safe manner

    + Cook food in proper quantities based on the daily menu and patient census

    + Check and log temperatures for food and refrigerated equipment to ensure safety and compliance

    + Serve as first position on the serving line during meal service

    + Stock and store food items properly upon delivery

    + Follow cleaning schedules to maintain a clean and organized kitchen environment

    + Adhere to all facility and departmental policies and procedures

    + Maintain confidentiality of all patient and family information

    + Deliver excellent customer service to patients, families, and team members

    Qualifications

    + High school diploma or GED

    + Associate degree in Culinary Arts preferred

    + 3 years of cooking in a Health Care, Institutional or Restaurant Food Service
