    Role:

    The role of the Digital Banker is to deliver the highest level of service to credit union members. A key component of this service delivery is to build long-term member relationships by identifying the financial needs of our members. In addition, the position will be responsible for: educating members and potential members on credit union products and services and advising members to ensure they are effectively utilizing the benefits of credit union membership.

    Summary of Job Functions and Responsibilities:

    + Responsible for handling member transactions associated with checking, savings, loan and other various transactions initiated from the Interactive Teller Machines (iTM).

    + Serves as an ambassador for alternative delivery channels while building customer relationships through live video.

    + Follows operating policies, assesses risk of presented transactions, and takes steps to minimize loss in ITM transactions.

    + Displays a professional demeanor and ability to connect with members.

    + Provides member assistance and step-by-step guidance through the ITM channel.

    + Educates members on the use of ITMs enhancing their interactive banking experience via live video technology.

    + Verifies identity and endorsements as required.

    + Remain knowledgeable of all credit union products (including consumer, business, and financial services) in order to better educate and advise members on the benefits of membership.

    + Demonstrates solid understanding of fraud and other risks associated with iTM transactions.

    Hours:

    + Monday - Friday :  8:45 am - 5:45 pm (in office)

    + No weekends

    Skills/ Requirements

    + Experience: Up to six months of financial or call center experience preferred.

    + Education: A high school diploma or GED.
