• Final Assembler

    Sechan Electronics Inc (Lititz, PA)


    The Final Assembler builds final product to print by placing all necessary wiring, wiring harnesses, circuit cards and other hardware components within a chassis.

    Position Responsibilities:

    + Manually and precisely assembles components into a final product by following work instructions and blueprints

    + Fit cable harnesses, circuit card, and components into chassis neatly and within tolerance

    + · Completes discrete wiring into chassis by soldering and lugging

    + · Utilizes correct torqueing tools and applies the correct torque during assembly

    + Mixes, weighs, and applies appropriate bonding chemicals to electronic components

    + Obtains and maintains J-Standard certifications

    + Utilizes computer to access and input data on the ERP system, Quality system, and other manufacturing software

    + Perform other duties as assigned to drive the vision, fulfill the mission, and abide by the value of this organization.

    + Fine manual dexterity

    + Ability to operate various machines and hand tools

    + Demonstrates high attention to detail

    + Ability to work independently and as a team player within a small team

    + Enjoys repetitive and routine work

    + Ability to read and comprehend work and process instructions (read/understand schematics, CAD drawings or blue prints)

    + Fine motor skills, dexterity, and good eyesight

    Qualifications:

    + High school diploma or equivalent

    + Previous soldering experience preferred

    + Obtains and maintains basic certifications in IPC610 and JStandard001 procedures

    + Ability to obtain/maintain a Department of Defense security clearance.

    + 9/80 work schedule.

    Work Environment:

    + Production Environment: Requires physical capability to work in a production environment up to 9 hours a day including; sit, stand, walk, stoop, kneel, crouch, ability to lift up to 50 lbs. Specific vision abilities including; close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus.

    + Hours 6:00 – 3:30, Monday through Thursday; Friday 6:00-2:30; occasional additional hours as needed
