    Job Summary

    Join our Menomonee Falls, WI team as an **Finance Intern** ! Apply here if you are interested in Finance, Accounting, Contracts, or Program Finance. Our internships are hands on and designed to let you see what it's like to work at Leonardo DRS Naval Power Systems. This is a **paid** summer undergraduate intern opportunity. Finance interns work closely with and assist our Finance staff with various assignments and projects. Our Summer Intern Program consists of at least 10 weeks of real world experience in an business environment.

     

    Mentors are assigned to assist interns in achieving engineering related career development that is of mutual benefit to the intern and DRS.

    What You Will Do

    + Carry out basic work instructions that will help in understanding the fundamentals of the Company and allow you to learn new things

    + Conduct limited scope projects and activities under the supervision of a senior finance individual

    + Gather and assemble data for the team

    + May be required to help in research in a particular field

    + Conduct data analysis and/or calculations under the supervision of a senior finance individual; assist with recommendations for improvement

    + Perform a wide variety of tasks to gain familiarity with the finance staff, methods, programs and practices

    Education & Experience Requirements

    + Current accredited college or university enrollment; making progress towards an undergraduate degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field

    + Grade point average of 3.0 or above

    + Must be diligent, hardworking, and quick to learn

    + Basic knowledge relevant to the finance discipline

    + Preferable entering the junior or senior year

    + Some knowledge of basic working processes related to finance and accounting; comfortable with MS Office tools including Excel
