    Job Description

    Insight Global is looking for a Director of IT Infrastructure to work on site in Austin, TX and support the strategy and introduction of products based on unique and highly differentiated capabilities of a preeminent foundry for semiconductor systems and defense electronics companies. Their mission is to advance the state-of-the-art in critical semiconductor domains such as advanced packaging, and in the process to help restore U.S. leadership in semiconductor manufacturing. They are developing cutting-edge semiconductor manufacturing technology that will define future roadmaps of semiconductor devices including logic, memory, 3D packaged devices, including thermal management, etc. The IT Infrastructure Architect for advanced packaging would design, implement, and manage the infrastructure necessary for creating and deploying sophisticated packaging solutions. This involves collaborating with cross-functional teams, utilizing industry-leading tools, and staying abreast of advancements in areas like multi-die packaging, chip-to-chip interfaces, and advanced silicon packaging.

    Skills and Requirements

    10 + years of experience working within IT Infrastructure within a factory or fabrication environment

     

    In-depth knowledge of IT infrastructure: including servers, networks, storage, and virtualization.

     

    Strong analytical and problem-solving skills: to troubleshoot and optimize infrastructure.

     

    Excellent communication and collaboration skills: to work effectively with cross-functional teams.

     

    Understanding of security principles: to ensure the security of infrastructure and designs.

     

    Knowledge of industry standards and regulations: related to defense electronics or semiconductor manufacturing or advanced packaging

     

    Ability to develop and maintain technical documentation: including architecture diagrams, standards, and guidelines

     

    Bachelor's degree in a related field
