• Sr. Full Stack Developer

    Job Description

    Insight Global is looking for a Sr. Full Stack Developer in Houston, TX for one of our large oil and gas clients. This Developer will be responsible for the design, development, and maintenance of software solutions across multiple domains, including downtime detection, API development, database management, and web applications. They will be developing and maintaining backend services using .NET technologies. In addition, they will be developing and maintaining Angular-based web applications. They will be the liaison for other consultants on the project and team and will be helping the management to communicate with them. Most development is being done on Azure and anything brand new will most likely be AWS. The manager over this team has 11 teams under him so this Developer will be focusing on multiple applications. In addition, this person will be responsible for sending out communication on releases and deployments and coming back with suggestions for the team. The pay for this role will range between $65-75/hr.

    Skills and Requirements

     

    10+ years of experience as an Angular Developer

     

    Extensive experience with Azure

     

    Proficiency in .NET technologies (C#, ASP.NET) and SQL Server.

     

    Extensive experience with Angular and modern frontend development tools.

     

    Strong knowledge of testing frameworks like Protractor, Cypress, and Karma.

     

    Familiarity with DevOps practices, including CI/CD pipelines and YAML-based configurations.

     

    Experience with database management and deployment.

     

    Strong debugging and problem-solving skills. Experience with cloud-based deployments and infrastructure as code (e.g., Terraform templates).

     

    Familiarity with tools like SonarQube for code quality analysis

     

    Knowledge of API development and integration.

     

    Understanding of modern software architecture patterns.
