Xylem is seeking a seasoned General Manager to oversee a division supporting the North America region. This senior leadership role carries full Profit & Loss responsibility of around 300-500M in revenue and is focused on driving commercial success, operational excellence, and strategic growth.

Strategic Leadership

+ Identify and evaluate market opportunities across North America.

+ Develop and execute short- and long-term growth strategies.

+ Collaborate with global operating divisions to align business plans.

+ Lead sales planning, budgeting, and target-setting processes.

+ Recommend strategic partnerships and expansion opportunities.

Client & Partner Engagement

+ Build and maintain strong relationships with key customers and partners.

+ Champion outcome-based selling strategies.

+ Represent the division externally with clarity and vision.

+ Ensure customer satisfaction through proactive engagement and support.

Operational Oversight

+ Drive operational efficiency and continuous improvement.

+ Lead demand planning and risk mitigation efforts.

+ Own and manage the division’s financial performance.

+ Support digital transformation and future-of-work initiatives.

Team Development

+ Build high-performing teams across sales, operations, and support functions.

+ Foster a culture of collaboration, accountability, and innovation.

+ Develop future leaders and promote talent mobility.

+ Champion performance metrics and continuous improvement.

Candidate Profile

+ Bachelor’s degree required; MBA preferred.

+ 7–10 years of senior leadership experience with P&L ownership.

+ Proven success in sales, strategy, and operational management.

+ Experience with capital projects and long-term service contracts.

+ Strong analytical, communication, and interpersonal skills.

+ Ability to lead across regions and manage remote teams.

+ High ethical standards and a results-driven mindset.

Additional Details

+ Travel requirement: Approximately 50%.
