Our client, a leader in the manufacturing industry is seeking a Maintenance Mechanic to join their team. As a Maintenance Mechanic, you will be part of the Maintenance Department supporting production operations. The ideal candidate will have strong problem-solving skills, excellent communication abilities, and a proactive attitude which will align successfully in the organization.

**Job Title:** Maintenance Mechanic

**Location:** Salisbury, NC

**Pay Range:** $17-27/hr based on experience

**Shift:** 1st shift Mon-Fri 6am-4:30pm; 2nd shift Mon-Fri 5pm-5am

What's the Job?

+ Provide repair services to all equipment, including modifications, upgrades, and development assistance

+ Complete daily checklists and work orders promptly and accurately

+ Troubleshoot equipment issues and assist with breakdown repairs

+ Support preventative maintenance programs to ensure optimal equipment performance

+ Collaborate with team members to meet production standards and safety policies

What's Needed?

+ Must pass forklift training and be certified

+ Experience in hydraulics, pneumatics, bearings, sprockets, and chains

+ Ability to work with hands, handle tools, and operate machinery safely

+ Good communication skills and ability to work well with others

+ Electrical experience, welding, or fabrication skills are a plus
