Overview

The Patient Care Manager oversees the daily operations of a multidisciplinary team in the Carle Cancer Institute as well as focuses on providing quality, cost-effective care.

Qualifications

Certifications:

+ Licensed Registered Professional Nurse (RN) - upon hire

+ Basic Life Support (BLS) - within 30 days

+ ONS/ONCC: Chemotherapy Immunotherapy Certificate - within 2 years

+ National Nursing Certification - within 3 years

Education:

+ Bachelor's Degree: Nursing or

+ Master's Degree: Nursing

Work Experience:

+ Nursing - 3 years

+ Leadership - 2 years

Responsibilities

+ Establish and maintain oncology nursing standards utilizing evidence-based practices.

+ Manages staff and daily operations inclusive of the coordination of patient care.

+ Assumes responsibility for continuing education and developmental needs of self and staff.

+ Responsible for new staff orientation and training

+ Assumes responsibility for developing reports, tracking competencies, conducting staff meetings.

Compensation and Benefits

The compensation range for this position is $47.23per hour - $81.24per hour. This represents a good faith minimum and maximum range for the role at the time of posting by Carle Health. The actual compensation offered a candidate will be dependent on a variety of factors including, but not limited to, the candidate’s experience, qualifications, location, training, licenses, shifts worked and compensation model.
