Description

We are looking for an experienced Systems Administrator to join our team in Sauk City, Wisconsin. This is a Contract-to-permanent position within the agriculture industry, offering an opportunity to oversee critical IT infrastructure and ensure optimal system performance. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in managing servers, hardware setups, and software installations while maintaining security and efficiency.

Responsibilities:

• Manage and monitor VMware servers, ensuring their optimal performance and reliability.

• Perform hardware setups, software installations, and system configurations to support business operations.

• Oversee patch management processes using Action 1 to maintain system security and compliance.

• Configure and deploy new systems, with a focus on server-related tasks.

• Implement and maintain Sophos endpoint protection to safeguard IT infrastructure.

• Administer Active Directory and ensure seamless integration across network resources.

• Support Microsoft Windows Server and O365 environments, handling updates and troubleshooting as needed.

• Maintain database, email, and network servers to ensure uninterrupted service.

• Collaborate with IT teams to enhance VMware infrastructure and technologies.

• Evaluate system performance and recommend upgrades or improvements to meet organizational needs.

Requirements • Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Systems Administrator or in a similar role.

• Proficiency in managing VMware servers and infrastructure.

• Strong knowledge of Windows operating systems, including Windows Server and Windows 10.

• Experience with hardware setups, software installations, and system configurations.

• Familiarity with patch management tools such as Action 1.

• Expertise in endpoint protection systems, such as Sophos.

• Hands-on experience with Active Directory and O365 environments.
