Compensation Senior Specialist
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM (Hybrid: 3 days in office / 2 days remote)
Pay Rate: $35/hour
Job Summary
We are seeking a detail-oriented and strategic Compensation Specialist to join our HR team on a short-term assignment. The role will focus on implementing, analyzing, and administering compensation programs that attract, retain, and motivate top talent, while ensuring internal equity and external competitiveness.
Key Responsibilities
+ Support the development and implementation of compensation strategies, policies, and programs.
+ Conduct market pricing and benchmarking analyses using salary surveys and internal data.
+ Partner with HR Business Partners and Talent Acquisition to provide compensation guidance for new hires, promotions, and internal transfers.
+ Lead annual compensation processes, including merit increases, bonus planning, and salary structure reviews.
+ Ensure compliance with applicable compensation-related laws and regulations.
+ Prepare and present compensation reports and insights to HR leadership and business stakeholders.
+ Contribute to compensation-related projects such as job architecture, pay equity analysis, and incentive plan design.
Qualifications
+ Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business, Finance, or related field (CCP certification preferred).
+ 5–10 years of experience in compensation or total rewards, with strong expertise in compensation administration and analytics.
+ Project management experience strongly preferred.
+ Proficiency in Excel; experience with compensation tools and HRIS systems.
+ Strong analytical skills and ability to interpret complex data.
+ Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
+ Ability to manage multiple priorities and work independently in a fast-paced environment.
