Maintenance Electrical Technician
This position is considered a multi-craft maintenance position with a strong electrical mechanical emphasis.
$29.94 - 36.13 / hour (depending on experience and qualifications)
Benefits available 1st day of employment (medical/dental/vision/401K and more)
During training it will be days Wednesday - Saturday 7am - 7pm (4 12 hr shift)
Then once training is completed they would transfer to nights 7pm - 7am Thursday, Friday, Saturday, Sunday. (4 12 hr shifts)
Essential duties and responsibilities include:
* Must be willing to work a 12 hour / 4 day schedule on any shift
* 2-3 year of electro automation system installation and troubleshooting experience
* Operational knowledge of automated industrial machinery which includes, motors, servos, pumps, drives, relays, 3 phase power, communication devices, industrial/electronic controls and power transmission systems.
* Understands hydraulic and pneumatic systems
* Ability to install and set up both A/C and D/C drives
* PLC troubleshooting and problem-solving ability with practical, mechanical, and electrical aptitude.
* Able to read and interpret both electrical and mechanical drawings
* Working knowledge of encoders and various types of sensors
* Working knowledge of power transmission equipment, bearings, pneumatics and hydraulics
* Basic welding skills
* Familiar with pumps; both air and electrical
* Able to install and troubleshoot 3 phase motor control circuits
* Knowledge of various types of sensors and limit switches
* Performs other duties as assigned
Other Qualifications:
Must be computer literate with a willingness to be an effective contributor to the plant's goal of producing optimum quality and outstanding service levels to our customers through effective teamwork
Education / Experience:
* High School diploma or equivalent
* Military training or technical school preferred
* 5 years in troubleshooting industrial electrical control systems down to component level
* Ability to work independently
* Ability to work flexible hours / non-traditional schedules and overtime as required
* Experience in a manufacturing environment preferred - Corrugated industry background is a plus.
