    **Title:** Team Lead, Distribution

    **Location/Division Specific Information:** This role is based in our Tewksbury, MA site, supporting the Chemical Analysis Division. This is a fully onsite position.

    **Hours:** Monday - Friday 6:00am - 2:30pm. _(Training to be Monday-Friday 8am - 5pm)_

     

    How Will You Make an Impact?:

     

    The Distribution Team Lead will manage a group of colleagues to achieve a variety of goals, including warehouse optimization, cycle count accuracy, problem resolution, creating a positive work environment, collaboration with downstream departments, and maintaining a safe warehouse work environment.

     

    A Day in the Life:

    + Develop and lead an impactful team and a culture of excellence. Instill a sense of urgency and accountability

    + Engage with and mentor team members to ensure accurate actions are being taken to improve process results

    + Coordinate employees and activities in warehouses to meet daily production goals; ensure the team follows all safety requirements and Current Good Manufacturing Practices (cGMP) requirements

    + Ensure that personnel issues or operational conditions are accurately addressed, including safety and medical emergencies, personnel issues, regulatory agency interaction, and technical (process) issues. Update the appropriate Operations Management to take appropriate corrective action

    + Create routines to complete all people leader tasks in a timely manner such as PMDs, corrective action, career development, and timecard management

    + Maintain accurate inventory in all designated warehouses and locations, promote the importance of inventory accuracy, and aid colleagues with inventory movements

    + Learn, understand, and demonstrate correct and safe processes and procedures for material handling and train others on instruction documents and SOPs

    + Pay strong attention to detail, collaborating with upstream and downstream departments to ensure quality

    + Ensure strong communication between shifts, colleagues, customers, and management

    + Use tools and equipment such as, but not limited to, computers, handheld scanners, calculators, tape guns, measuring tools, and pallet jacks.

    + Lead improvement activities, including 5S activities

    + Perform additional duties as assigned.

    Requirements:

    Education, Experience:

    + High school diploma or equivalent required

    + Required: Minimum of 5 years of work experience leading a team

    + Preferred: Experience in a cGMP environment

    Knowledge, Skills, Abilities:

    + Ability to mentor, train, empower, influence, and coach a team

    + Ensure team maintains consistent adherence to policies, procedures, and instructions

    + Strong verbal and written communication skills

    + Competency in using computers, Microsoft Office products, and inventory management systems

    + Attention to detail and problem-solving abilities

    Physical Requirements / Work Environment

    + Work in a fast-paced, regulated warehouse environment, with occasional overtime

    + Ability to lift and manipulate up to 40 pounds unassisted

    + Ability to stand, reach, bend, twist, stoop, push, and grasp while performing tasks

    + Use of equipment and hand tools, including scanners, tape guns, and powered equipment requiring forceful gripping, pushing, pulling, and repetitive motion
