Position Description:
Performs administrative duties in the management and coordination of a large specialized project and program. Performs varied and complex administrative duties requiring independent judgment and the application of established policies and procedures. May provide supervision and direction to clerical, paraprofessional or professional staff members.

Major/Essential Functions:
+ Lead the development and Implementation of comprehensive strategic plans for Student Life In collaboration with senior leadership. requiring advanced knowledge of strategic planning methodologies and proficient project management skills to coordinate multi-year initiatives across multiple functional areas.
+ Apply proficient analytical abilities to design complex data collection systems, conduct sophisticated statistical analyses, and interpret findings to measure outcomes within Student Life programs.
+ Direct comprehensive assessment frameworks across multiple Student Life units, exercising autonomy to establish assessment standards and guidelines to meet departmental needs while ensuring alignment with university policies and accreditation-requirements.
+ Chair the Student Life Strategic Planning and Assessment committee.
+ Prepare comprehensive annual reports and communicate directly with senior leadership, translating complex data into actionable insights and strategic recommendations that influence division decision-making.
+ Solve complex organizational challenges through analysis and past experience, developing innovative solutions for assessment and strategic planning issues that require creativity, integration, and a high degree of technical and managerial sophistication.
+ Interpret institutional standards and policies while establishing local strategies for Student Life assessment and planning, exercising authority to approve exceptions to established standards and modify approaches within university guidelines.

Preferred Qualifications:
+ Master's degree preferred OR equivalent combination of education and extensive experience demonstrating advanced analytical, strategic planning, and leadership capabilities.
+ 3-5+ years of progressive experience in strategic planning, assessment, or data analysis in higher education, nonprofit, or corporate settings.
+ Experience presenting to senior leadership and developing comprehensive reports that Influence organizational strategy and policy development.

Required Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in the area of specialization or closely related field. Four years of related administrative and technical experience. Additional job related education may be substituted for the required experience on a year-for-year basis.
