Amergis Staffing is currently seeking both TRAVEL andLocal experienced LPN Psych nurses in Wilson, NC!

Position: LPN Psych

Shifts available:

2nd- 3p-11:30p, 40, EOW

Hours: 40hrs

Contract Length: 16 wks

Number of Openings: 2

Start Date: 10/6

**** Only accepting nurses that have lived in NC forthe last 5yrs due to fingerprints that would be needed otherwise****

First 2-4 weeks will be orientation- NO RTO OR CALL OUTSWILL BE PERMITTED IN FIRST 2-4 WEEKS.

Orientation Schedule is M-F 8a-4p

*If offered, candidate must be willing to attend preemployment screening which is held on Tues, Wed, or Thurs at 10AM OR1:30PM at the facility. Where a lift test and other pre employment itemswill be conducted**

Facility Info:

Longleaf Neuro-Medical Treatment Center is aspecialized skilled nursing facility certified by the Centers for Medicare andMedicaid Services under the Omnibus Budget Reconciliation Act long term careregulations.

The Psychiatric or Mental/Behavioral Health LPN isresponsible and accountable for the application of the nursing process and thedelivery of patient care in the psychiatric unit of a hospital, mentalhealth/behavioral health hospital, or they can be responsible for care incommunity settings.

The LPN must demonstrate the ability to make clinicaljudgments in an effective and efficient manner with the supervision of a RegisteredNurse and in collaboration with the care team.

Minimum Requirements:

+ Current LPN license in state of assignment

+ 1 year experience in a psychiatric care setting preferred

+ Current CPR if applicable

+ TB Questionnaire, PPD or chest x-ray if applicable

+ Current Health certificate (per contract or stateregulation)

+ Must meet all federal, state and local requirements

+ Must be at least 18 years of age
