2nd Shift Shipping associate

This is a full-time, 2nd shift role working Monday to Friday, 2:30 PM–10:30 PM

Job responsibilities:

+ Prepare documents for carriers, verify the accuracy of orders, and coordinate shipment notifications and pick-ups.

+ Provide timely and accurate shipment information to inquiries. Arrange and coordinate order changes and expediting requests to achieve high customer happiness, providing follow-up as required.

+ Call carriers to schedule pick-ups and ensure timely movement of outbound freight.

+ Provide backup and assistance to other warehouse functions during peak workloads and absence coverage.

+ Resolve order issues, including open status and backorders.

+ Coordinate workload based on criteria such as carrier, service level, and shift.

+ Interact and work in both office and warehouse conditions.

+ Perform additional duties as assigned.

Job criteria:

Education & Experience:

+ High school diploma or equivalent experience.

+ Minimum of one (1) year of previous experience in warehouse processes and software systems, with MS Office and JDE preferred.

+ Ability to adapt quickly to business circumstances.

Physical & Environmental Demands:

+ Sit for extended periods.

+ Bend, squat, and reach above head.

+ Climb stairs and ladders.

+ Lift and carry up to 50 pounds.
