Required Qualifications: Applicants must specifically address how they meet these required qualifications to meet the requirements of the position.
+ Ability to use computer terminal to monitor and control the campus building automation systems
+ Previous experience maintaining records of installation, maintenance, calibration and repair activities.
+ Knowledge of HVAC systems and various associated equipment, as well as Sequence of Operations.
+ Knowledge of Chilled Water Production Systems and the various system equipment.
+ Knowledge of Hot Water generation and pumping systems and the various system equipment.
+ Engineering experience within the Siemens Desigo CC Building Automation Systems on campus.
+ Ability to read and interpret electrical, electronic, and mechanical schematics, blueprints, and drawings.
+ Ability to work after-hours on-call duty, on a rotating basis with other shop personnel.
Preferred Qualifications
+ 2-5 years of experience working with Desigo CC.
+ Able to correct Programming Issues within various different programming methods ( PPCL , CFC , GCL , Ladder Logic, etc.)
+ Ability to read and interpret MEP drawings and Controls Submittals from various vendors.
Job Description
Maintain plant and building systems hardware to provide continuous, consistent, and accurate information and control of plant systems, processes and equipment.
Job Duties
+ Serve as team lead in day-to-day tasking and workorders assignments and provides support for all campus construction divisions.
+ Perform building automation reviews on all construction and remodeling submittals for campus and witness to building commissioning / test and balancing of all projects.
+ Assist supervisor with annual employee reviews for the department.
+ Coordinate all repair proposals needed to be procured by the supervisor.
+ Surveil service contractors performing BAS -related repairs throughout campus.
+ Maintain Desigo CC as well as server updates and programming changes as needed.
+ Provide new programming strategies for server efficiencies and operations.
+ Coordinate with construction managers to provide layouts and design when asked for project budgeting from campus customers.
+ Perform other duties as assigned.
Additional Information to Applicants
This position requires driving University vehicles.
Must be willing to be on call on a rotating basis with other shop personnel.
