    We have an outstanding Contract to Hire position for aMachine Operator to join a leading Company located inNashua, NH.

     

    US Citizenship is required.

     

    Candidate must have the ability to obtain and maintain a Public Trust.

    Job Responsibilities:

    + Safe and effective Slitter operation, including monitoring and control of the equipment to maintain conformance to customer specifications and quality standards.

    + Maintain efficient operation of equipment to maximize yields and uptime.

    + Maintain a thorough understanding of all components of the slitter and spooling equipment, with the ability to set up orders and troubleshoot problems when necessary.

    + Follow standard operating procedures and guidelines for make-ready, troubleshooting, security, record keeping, and quality testing.

    + Perform set changes in a timely fashion, utilizing a team approach.

    Basic Hiring Criteria:

    + High school diploma or equivalent experience.

    + Must be U.S. Citizen

    + Must be able to obtain and maintain Public Trust clearance

    + Industrial math skills.

    + Strong mechanical aptitude & dexterity to perform basic repairs to the machinery.

    + Ability to learn the computer skills required to control the monitoring functions.

    + Ability to read, write, keep neat and accurate records, and follow written and verbal instructions.

    + Able to lift up to 25-lbs .

    Desired Qualifications:

    + Previous manufacturing experience highly preferred.

    + Previous chemical handling experience a plus.
