    The Arc Mid-Hudson has a front-line management opportunity, supporting people with developmental and intellectual disabilities, at our Birch program in Carmel.

     

    BirchHouse is located on the outskirts of Carmel on off of Route 301, surrounded by beautiful reservoirs. It is a cozy two-story home of 11 very active ladies. They range in age from 30’s to 80’s. All of the ladies have different interests but one thing they all have in common is that they love to go out and shop! Whether to department stores at the mall or the Dollar Tree, the ladies enjoy being out and about. They also love to go out to a variety of restaurants and even enjoy days at the park. While home they enjoy relaxing while watching TV, cooking, and doing arts and crafts. The ladies have different goals that they are working towards and could use your support in accomplishing.     Responsibilities for this seasoned manager include supervising staff and assuring that plans of care are followed for the individuals we support. This experienced manager will possess an Associates or Bachelors degree in Psychology, Human Services or a related field, and will have strong organizational skills and supervisory experience. Previous experience supporting individuals with disabilities is highly preferred.

     

    The Arc Mid-Hudson offers an extensive and informative new hire orientation in a comfortable learning environment. We also provide additional development opportunities for our management staff.

     

    HOURS: 40 hours weekly - Tuesday thru Friday 11a- 7p, Saturday 2p-10p

     

    Salary: $60,405.80

    Minimum Requirements

    + Associates or Bachelors degree in Psychology, Human Services, or a related field is preferred

    + Strong organization skills and supervisory experience

    + Computer skills including Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook

    + Acceptable NYS Driver's license
